Our Centre is committed to advancing social and environmental sustainability, a critical imperative in addressing the major challenges arising from rapid global environmental change. With a focus on innovative research and policy analysis, we support the transition towards low-carbon, sustainable societies and economies, contributing to the sustainability of our planet.
The Centre leverages UQ’s diverse research expertise to adopt an interdisciplinary and applied approach to these multifaceted issues. We work in partnership and actively collaborate with governments, industries, and third-sector organisations. This ensures our research is uniquely tailored to their needs and can be readily implemented into effective, real-world solutions.
