Scaling innovations in aged care workforce retention

This project directly supports Anglicare’s strategic commitment to fostering a sustainable, resilient and adaptable workforce that can continue to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a changing environment. By focusing on flexible workforce innovations, the research contributes to strengthening staff wellbeing, job satisfaction, and retention. 

This project aims to identify evidence-based and practice-informed principles for implementing and scaling flexible workforce innovations in the aged care sector.   

Using a mixed-method, phased approach combining a rapid evidence review with practitioner interviews, best-practice principles for implementing flexible workforce innovations in aged care will be identified.   

The primary output will be a practical toolkit summarising best-practice principles and actionable guidance for similar aged care organisations seeking to introduce or expand flexible workforce innovations.
