Protecting emergency healthcare personnel in conflict zones during the COVID-19 pandemic

The Centre's Dr Claire Brolan and Bailey Meyers together with Larry Maybee of the Australian Red Cross, recently wrote an article in the Autumn 2021 edition of The Australian College for Emergency Medicine's quarterly magazine 'Your Ed'.

The authors emphasise how important it is that emergency healthcare workers have an overview of the protections they are owed under International Humanitarian Law when working in dangerous conflict zones, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. Read the full article on pages 33 - 36 here.
