Dr Pedram Rashidi

Dr Pedram Rashidi holds a joint appointment as Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy Futures and ARC Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC). He is currently developing a responsible innovation framework for quantum biotechnology in collaboration with QUBIC.

With a Master's degree in Physics, extensive industry experience, and a PhD in Political Science, Pedram's interdisciplinary research spans science and technology studies, responsible innovation, environmental governance, and decarbonisation policy.

His current research focuses on identifying regulatory gaps in emerging quantum-enabled decarbonisation sectors, developing risk profiles for quantum biotechnology research and innovation, and examining the geopolitical implications of emerging technologies.
