Dr Anneke Schmider is an associate fellow at Chatham House whose interest is the use of research, evidence and innovation for global policy.

Dr Schmider has delivered a wide range of policy research for international development agencies and consortiums, including World Bank, WHO, the International Vaccine Institute and Chatham House.

Anneke has recently facilitated global research partnerships to deliver new research for the Reform for Resilience Commission, providing global policy advice to the Commission’s Co-Chairs and working closely with the Commission’s Hubs in Europe and the Asia Pacific as well as international organizations such as the OECD.

Anneke is a Political Economist and holds a PhD and MSc in international development, and has won government and international awards for her work and leadership.
