Co-designing regional food procurement for Brisbane 2032 Olympics and beyond
In partnership with not‑for‑profit Food Connect Foundation, we will share insights from our new Report outlining recommendations for the co‑design of a future research and policy agenda that supports an Olympics‑led impact procurement legacy. The report provides results from our project exploring how Brisbane 2032 could catalyse food system transformation through values‑based, local impact procurement.
Speakers include Centre for Policy Futures' report authors Dr Kiah Smith, Dr Rob Arcidiacono and Dr Joanna Horton, community project partner Emma-Kate Rose (Food Connect Foundation), and expert respondent Associate Professor Stephanie Wyeth (Director of Engagement UQ School of Architecture, Design and Planning).
