Mapping and Analysis of Blue Economy Policy and Legislative Arrangements

Whilst knowledge of existing policy and legislative arrangements is critical to reduce industry uncertainty in relation to what, when, how and by whom Blue Economy activities are possible, in Australia we do not completely understand what these arrangements are and where gaps and overlaps among them exist.

This project contributes towards a more informed understanding of the existing policy and legislative arrangements through mapping how these arrangements correspond to Blue Economy uses, activities, and resources, identifying how these support or hinder Blue Economy activities through a cross-sector analyses, and the creation of an online database.
