About What does a net zero world look like?
Countries around the world, including Australia, have committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2050. But reaching the net zero goal requires radical changes to the systems that underpin our current way of life. How can we achieve this goal and what are the critical issues that need to be considered along the way? In this symposium, we bring together diverse speakers from engineering, policy, economics, finance, and psychology to discuss the challenges and potential solutions to reaching net zero.
Presenters include:
- Professor John Quiggin, School of Economics, UQ
- Assoc/Professor Simon Smart, School of Chemical Engineering, UQ
- Dr Rebecca Colvin, Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU
