UQ Digital, Data and Society Network

UQ’s Digital, Data and Society Network is a cross University network of several dozen UQ staff and PhD students from 9 Schools and 3 Institutes/Centres across 5 Faculties. This interdisciplinary network was established in 2017 by Paul Henman in order to enhance the visibility, presence and expertise in digital-related teaching and research in social sciences and humanities at UQ.

The DD&SN holds regular research seminars, interactive roundtables, occasional workshops and master classes, meet-the-researcher introductions, and a reading group. It also plays an important information sharing role about activities of interest, and has contributed to high level strategic discussions about building digital humanities and social science research infrastructure, research and teaching within UQ. New members are always welcome.
