About UQ-UI Bilateral Research Forum

Focused on Indonesia’s shifting Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE) policy landscape, this webinar will involve a panel of experts discussing how research is influencing policy formulation with respect to P/CVE in Indonesia.

The webinar will feature UQ School of Psychology researchers Professor Winnifred Louis and Susilo Wibisono, together with their UI Psychology colleague, Dr Mirra Noor Milla. They will also be joined by a representative from Indonesia’s Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Kemenkopolhukam), Dr Pribadi Sutiono, who is responsible for drafting Indonesia’s PVE National Action Plan as well as an expert on gender and PVE, Dwi Rubiyanti Kholifah, Indonesia Country Director of the Asian Muslim Action Network (AMAN). The event is moderated by the UQ Centre for Policy Futures' Dr Greta Nabbs-Keller, Research Fellow Southeast Asia and the Indo Pacific.

The webinar will feature formal opening remarks by the UI Rector, Vice-Rector III
(Research and Innovation) and UQ Vice-Chancellor and President.
