Closing the Gap with the Policy Impact Program

3 November 2022

The Policy Impact Program (PIP) is a partnership between the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust and the Centre for Policy Futures that provides Churchill Fellows with the opportunity to develop their skills in policy and engage with relevant government leaders. Through this program, a selection of ideas from the Churchill Fellows that have the potential to shape best practice and policy reform are selected, curated and advocated through a series of articles in the publication Policy Futures: A Reform Agenda.

The second issue of Policy Futures: A Reform Agenda will synthesise some of the best insights of the 2021-2022 Churchill Fellows, and is set to be launched in late November 2022 at Parliament House in Canberra. Four fellows investigated pertinent Closing the Gap issues in their research, showing how a comprehensive solution can be delivered through a focus on health, housing, criminal justice and entrepenuerial policy change. Read more about these four fellows and their work in The Mandarin.
